Safeguarding the dignity and rights of individuals and families in detention centers as well as their speedy and equitable resettlement.
Law Enforcement Accountability
Increased police accountability and transparency in cases of wrongful death and misconduct.
Affirmative Action
Aligning with Asian American civil rights organizations to Defend Diversity.
On Capitol Hill
Advocacy for the passage of the South Asian Heart Health Awareness and Research Act.
Voter Support
Voting Integrity and acting as a watchdog to respond to South Asian voter suppression.
Vision
By combining litigation, advocacy, education, and organizing, the South Asian LDF works with our communities across the country to secure human rights for all. We combat efforts to limit and marginalize our families.
We are a 501(c)3 and will begin fundraising in mid-2024 to develop our direct services and litigation capacity.
